Your analysis of depression era challenges is outstanding.

That means we need updated Depression Era responses. Fortunately, they already exist.

The Green New Deal will help create jobs and rebuild our crumbling infrastructure.

There are many needs in health care and education that require more employees and smarter government and private sector investments.

Concern about safety in schools will lead to more hybrid and home schooling. At the same time more aids or parent volunteers will be needed to ensure safety for younger students.

More child care will be done by parents and grandparents.

The massive bubble pumped up by globalization is crashing and with it the American empire and the Republican Party.

For economic recovery I would look at states who are controlling Covid-19 the best: New York and New England.

Maybe the rest of the country could learn a thing or two.
