Thank you for writing this. I have often found comfort in Michael Card's album The Hidden Face of God. He explores the lost language of lament and turns them into music.

It is interesting that Card has used music to minister to his own deep struggles with depression.

As a historian an educator I sometimes reflect that it has been much worse. But that is cold comfort to those suffering in the present. Your words are both honest and hopeful.
