I get your anger and your analysis. I think that your argument lacks historical context though.

Remember, Reagan won Massachusetts and California twice. Clinton won the White House and got reelected by pivoting toward the center.

Obama inherited a mess, fixed a lot of it, passed Obama care and then got swamped by the tea party in 2010. Republicans then rigged the redistricting and aggressively started suppressing the vote.

Fox is still the most watched network. Big changes will require winning the senate and the expanding control of the house. If Biden immediately passes Bernie’s agenda without allowing the country to heal he risks another massive backlash.

Keep pushing and fighting for justice, it is needed. The greatest lesson of the Black Lives Matter movement may be the importance of insistent and persistent resistance.

Winning requires broad coalitions and ultimately Bernie lost the Black vote. Bernie won, however, the hearts and minds of activists like yourself. Keep the energy and the passion, just try not to inflict too much collateral damage.
