For many Evangelicals the "secular world" is defined as dangerous or other, the more people dig deeper into church relationships. I wonder what impact the decline of Catholic neighborhoods as a result of suburbanization and the decline of parochial schools has had on that Catholic attendance patterns. The increasing scheduling of youth sports on Sunday mornings has definitely led to a decline in attendance across the board.
